Little Kyle was found at the side of the road, filthy and with no microchip. He has quite extensive old injuries to his face, injuries that would be expected of a dog that has been used for badger-baiting.
As he was found straying we don’t have much information to offer a new owner, he is super sweet with people, a little timid initially but very happy to be handled, he’s even enjoyed a bath!
He’s a bit unsure of new dogs, experience has shown us that Patterdale’s can be a bit fiesty and given the extent of his injuries we’ve been reluctant to throw him in at the deep end with new dogs, so we’ll continue to socialise him while he’s here.
We will not rehome Kyle to homes with cats or other small furry animals and as he was a stray cannot rehome him to families with children under 12 years of age.
