Loca arrived with us following the illness and death of her owner. We rehomed her and the poor girl had to come back as her new owners took unwell too.
Loca was born in Belgium and has her own passport! She’s been in the UK for many years now.
She is very independent and can be quite aloof, she likes her own space and will tell you when she wants affection – not the other way around! Although 10 she’s still quite spritely and strong on the lead.
She enjoys playing with other young male dogs here at the kennels, we call her The Cougar!
She is house-trained but does not like being left alone. She does not like cats or other small furry creatures.
What kind of home do we need for Loca?
Loca would need her own garden, somewhere secure where she can mooch about all day but still see everyone in the house.
Her new owner should be fit enough not to be dragged along but not looking for a dog to climb Munros with either. She will play with children but would not tolerate being climbed on so teenagers only.
If you’re interested in learning more about Loca please contact us, you will be required to fill in an adoption application form before visiting the kennels.
Applications will close once we find a suitable applicant.
