Kendi, 18mo GSD x Weim.

Kendi is now reserved

Kendi originally came from her owner due to a change in home circumstances, we had rehomed her but given her desperation to chase sheep she had to be returned.

She’s not huge at just 29kgs but is strong and fit.

She’s a nervous dog and is very wary of new people, especially men and children, but we’re seeing improvement all the time. She’s house-trained but does not like to be left alone for long periods, which was part of the reason for her original relinquishment, she would likely be much happier with a companion dog as she was in her failed adoption.

She loves other dogs and will play beautifully once she’s had a few minutes to suss them out.

What kind of home do we need for Kendi?

Kendi wants a garden, she loves being outdoors, she’d rather be in the garden than in the house. The garden should be surrounded by a 6ft boundary and must not be adjacent to sheep fields!

She’s a lady’s dog, in her temporary home she would completely ignore the gentleman of the house and jump whenever the lady asked her to do anything. She’s not for the family that want to take their dog everywhere with them, at least for the first few months while she settles.
