What we know about Roxy.
Roxy came from her owner due to a relationship breakdown and her dislike of being left alone. She can be destructive if left, cries and toilets indoors.
She likes other dogs but can introduce herself in that GSD way especially on lead. We would not trust her around small yappy dogs, she’s a bit too wound up by them!
She’s lived with cats but has not been successful in meeting or settling with cats in a new home. She’s used to kids and is happy around new women but can take a while with new men, she really hates our hairy landscapers!
In January 2023 Roxy underwent abdominal surgery to remove pieces of toy from her stomach.
What kind of home do we need for Roxy?
An experienced dog owner, ideally someone familiar with working breeds such as GSDs. She needs further training around the home and when out walking.
She could live in a built up or country home as long as she has a secure garden, she is not house-trained and wants to be outside whenever she can but typical needy GSD needs to see you too!
Roxy has a sensitive tummy and will need a good quality diet to keep her stools firm.
