Patch & Tuck

About the boys

The boys arrived together, there’s a complicated story but they had belonged to a friend of the person who was keeping them whose daughter brought them to us! They’ve been kennelled outdoors and are clean in their kennel here. They are buddies but one is around 2 and the other is around 6 and even though they play, they also squabble over food and so could live with or without each other.

What kind of home are we looking for?
Sighthound experience would be preferable but someone with knowledge of the breed please.
Lurchers cannot be off lead in public places given that they can be a danger to small animals so a garden would be nice for off lead zoomies or someone with the means to take him to a secure field for off lead fun on occasion.

They’re ok with other dogs and have been around children too, although not lived with them. We do not recommend lurchers and sighthounds in homes with cats and other small hairy animals.
