Tuck, Lurcher 2 years old

About Tuck

Tuck arrived with another dog. There’s a complicated story but they had belonged to a friend of the person who was keeping them whose daughter brought them to us! Although pals, we thought it best to separate them. Tuck has a friend in Lenny the Lurcher here so he’s got someone else to play with!

He had been outdoor kennelled and has been indoor kennelled with us. He’s clean in his kennel and does not chew bedding or toys.

Lead manners could do with improvement but he’s not terrible!

What kind of home are we looking for?
Sighthound experience would be preferable but someone with knowledge of the breed please.
Lurchers cannot be off lead in public places given that they can be a danger to small animals so a garden would be nice for off lead zoomies or someone with the means to take him to a secure field for off lead fun on occasion.

Tuck is ok with other dogs, although grumbly sometimes and has been around children too, although not lived with them. We do not recommend lurchers and sighthounds in homes with cats and other small hairy animals.
