Lenny was found as a stray, he’s a Lurcher which is a crossbreed but there’s something butch-er than your usual Lurchers.
He’s a sweet boy, clean in his kennel during the day but sometimes has a wee overnight – very common for the breed we’ve found. He can and will reach the counters and eat anything he finds!
Lenny is great with other dogs and has enjoyed many a race with other Lurcher types we’ve got in the kennels.
Lenny is very very interested in the sheep and lambs in the fields surrounding us.
What kind of home are we looking for?
Sighthound experience would be great. As with all Lurcher types we would exercise caution around small dogs, cats and other small pets. Lurchers cannot be off lead in public places given that they can be a danger to small animals so a garden would be nice for off lead zoomies or someone with the means to take him to a secure field for off lead fun on occasion.
We do not rehome dogs found as strays to families with children less than 12 years of age.
