Callie was brought to us by Police as the person with her was arrested, they never came to collect her. Her microchip was registered to someone else and we could not make contact with them either. Like Blue, who we rehomed in September, Callie has been bought and the chip registered as a Presa but given the date of birth on the microchip we think Blue and Callie could be litter mates and Blue’s DNA said German Shepherd x Cane Corso.
Callie is a sweet girl, loves to play and have zoomies. She is wary of strangers but has not shown signs of aggression here, she’s had a day out to the vet for neutering and the staff commended her behaviour. She’s not great with other dogs but we’re working on it! She is very clean in her kennel and therefore we assume house-trained, lead manners still require work.
What kind of home are we looking for?
An experienced dog owner of large breed dogs. Given her timid nature we would recommend older teenagers only, she will not enjoy a busy household with lots of visitors.
As ever, a garden would be great but not a deal breaker for the right candidate.
