About Fifi.
Fifi came from a family home due to them having to relocate.
She’s just turned one and in her teenage phase, so testing boundaries right now and will require a lot of guidance and training. She’s so very smart but bores easily so will need someone active and engaging to keep her focused.
She adores other dogs and has been used to a doggy day care.
She is crate-trained and house-trained and travels in a crate in the car.
She’s very intelligent and craves a job. She loves water – puddles, ponds, rivers – she just wants to dive in and doesn’t always carry out the appropriate risk assessment!
She is spooked by loud noises, horses and fast moving traffic.
What kind of home do we need for Fifi?
As an adolescent dog she will need someone who is willing to work with her and guide her and preferably someone who has experience of the intelligent mind of the Border Collie breed.
Right now, Fifi really needs her own garden. She needs help with lead manners and to learn recall and so a private safe place to do this with her is vital.
Fifi loves other dogs so would happily live with them, perhaps a mature well mannered dog might help her! Or she’ll lead them astray!
She had lived with children but her family think teenage children would be better suited to her – not just because she likes to kill cuddly toys.
