Rocky, 2yo Border Collie

RESERVED

Rocky came from owner, who had him for two months but Rocky terrorised their cat. He’d been bought from the breeder/farmer after he’d been returned to them from the first family.

Rocky is a car chaser – one of the most extreme cases we have seen in a while! He will throw himself in front of any vehicle, big or small and is very powerful with it! He is very interested in the trains as they pass here too.

Rocky likes to play ball, frisbee and with other toys. He likes new people and other dogs.

He is a smart boy, house-trained and crate-trained and can open doors and let himself out whenever the mood takes him!

What kind of home do we need for Rocky?

Rocky cannot be rehomed in a built-up area / housing estate. He will need to live somewhere away from roads, he finds traffic so overwhelming he loses all sound mind when he sees cars to chase!

Rocky should have a secure garden – if he got to a road he would be killed as he runs for their wheels.

Rocky hasn’t been around children much so we would consider children of at least 8 years once we assessed them around each other.
