FOUND A HOME
About Rascal.
Rascal came into us when his owner went into residential care. He’s belonged to an elderly lady who hasn’t been in good health in recent years so has been unable to exercise and socialise him.
He is not used to being alone much and will bark incessantly if not getting the attention he feels he is due. He loves to play with toys and would play all day with a ball. He’s uncomfortable around traffic, wary of new people and frightened of other dogs and children but shows his fear in terrier fashion!!
What kind of home do we need for Rascal?
An experienced dog owner, confident, no-nonsense but kind and will cuddle him. Teenagers would be fine, especially if they can play with toys but no primary aged children. He likes a cuddle but he is not a lap dog and is desperate for exercise and play. Our dog walkers describe him as always in a hurry – he plays fast, walks fast, drinks fast!!
A garden would always be nice but certainly somewhere that isn’t in a built up area as he is frightened of traffic and his barking is likely to upset the neighbours, certainly until you can teach him that he doesn’t have to bark for attention.
If you’re interested in learning more about him please contact us, you will be required to fill in an adoption application form before visiting the kennels.
Applications will close once we find a suitable applicant.
