FOUND A HOME
Pixel was rehomed by us in 2019, sadly the family have found his behaviour too hard to manage and returned him to us recently. He had bitten visitors to the home, the postie and other dogs that have approached him while out walking.
He has been back with us for a few weeks and we have not yet seen the behaviour described, he doesn’t like other dogs but has shown no attempt to attack those in neighbouring kennels nor when he’s been out walking. He’s met visitors, vets and dog walkers since his return and has been on his best behaviour, although he gave a wee flash of his teeth to the vet when she stuck a needle in him!
He loves to play and enjoys a walk, with pleasant lead manners.
What kind of home do we need for Pixel?
Pixel will have to be the only pet in his new home. An experienced dog owner, confident, no-nonsense but kind too! He is desperate for exercise, brain training and play; being a Patterdale Terrier he is a ratter and will absolutely kill small furries and even hedgehogs! No children under 12 years of age.
A garden would be nice as he will not be able to be offlead in busy public parks as he can be reactive to new dogs.
If you’re interested in learning more about him please contact us, you will be required to fill in an adoption application form before visiting the kennels.
Applications will close once we find a suitable applicant.
If you would like to register your interest in adopting a PADS dog please complete an adoption application. You can complete online here or download, complete and return the adoption application form by email or post to:
