About Lenny
Lenny was found as a stray, he’s a Lurcher which is a crossbred but there’s something butch-er than your usual Lurchers.
He’s a sweet boy, a little bit insecure and likes to have company. He’s clean in his kennel during the day but sometimes has a wee overnight – very common for the breed we’ve found.
He’s a bit standoffish with new people initially and was a bit frightened of the vet although did not require muzzling. He’s quite wary of many of the other dogs around the kennels. He has no lead manners and is incredibly strong.
What kind of home are we looking for?
Sighthound experience would be great. Someone strong and fit, he will need help with lead manners. Lurchers cannot be off lead in public places given that they can be a danger to small animals so a garden would be nice for off lead zoomies or someone with the means to take him to a secure field for off lead fun on occasion.
We do not rehome dogs found as strays to families with children less than 12 years of age.
