Trent, Crossbreed

About Trent

Trent was found abandoned in Perth, we don’t have any information about his early days. We suspect he’s around 7/8 months old, he’s very puppy like and got big feets to grow into! He could be part Wolfhound, he’s a big boy. Definitely some kind of hound, lurcher type.

He’s been on trial for a couple of weeks but the resident dog couldn’t accept him.

He’s very sweet, likes a cuddle, loves food, loves other dogs – he’s a bit too over enthusiastic for some! He’s no real house manners and will steal from worktops!

He’ll need a bit of help with lead manners but really a gentleman with no lunging or pulling.

What kind of home are we looking for?
Sighthound experience would be great of course but if potential adopters could at least take the time to do some reading on the breed we’d be grateful. Lurchers cannot be off lead in public places given that they can be a danger to small animals so a garden would be nice for off lead zoomies or someone with the means to take him to a secure field for off lead fun on occasion.

We do not rehome dogs found as strays to families with children less than 12 years of age.
