Gizmo arrived with Coco, the dogs had belonged to an elderly lady who had not had the dogs seen by vets or groomed in a very long time and we had to spend a lot of time building their trust. After some sweet talking, the dogs were taken to the vets for anaesthesia, full shave and health check.
Gizmo came out of his shell straight away and is a feisty, gobby wee toerag who loves a zoomy! He loves going on a walk and at the same time likes to jump on your lap so you can tell him how gorgeous he is! He doesn’t know how to play with a toy, his favourite game is to nibble your fingers! They are a bit barky towards other dogs, don’t like cats and are not used to little kids so teenagers only or an adult only home.
Gizmo would benefit from an active home with plenty of walks and stimulation, he will rule the roost if he can get away with it and he is oh so very charming with it! Gizmo hasn’t had much exposure to other dogs and it seems this has made him reactive around new dogs, especially on lead. We’re not sure as to how well house-trained he is and so would likely need someone around with him to help teach him.
