Betsy is now reserved.
Bwas found as a stray with very sore eyes. Betsy had entropion and as a result ulcers in her eyes and required surgery on both eyes. This expensive surgery was a success and Betsy was rehomed.
Sadly, the dog in the new home would not accept her and despite extensive holistic measures being put in place by the adopters, it was not meant to be.
Betsy’s adoption helped us gain more insight into her behaviour in a home and we’ve learned that she’s a bit anxious being left, and may pee but is not destructive. She enjoys snoozing on the sofas and travels well in a car. She’s ok with other dogs, if a bit in-your-face Bully in style. She will need further lead training but recall is pretty good.
