ANDRO IS NOW RESERVED
Andro was born in Cyprus, where his owners used to live, he looks like a Cocker Spaniel (if you squint).
When the gentleman passed away, the lady moved back to Scotland in 2022, sadly, she too passed away recently. We understand that Andro was a street dog and he is estimated to be around 7 years of age now, having been rescued in 2018. Although he’s been a pet for many years, he lived a sedentary lifestyle with older people and is therefore not used to lots of visitors or children in the home. He doesn’t like to be bothered when he’s in his bed and prefers to be the one to initiate affection. He has adjusted well to life here in the kennels but will likely need a few visits from any adopters.
Due to advanced dental disease Andro had to have most of his teeth removed in December 2024, hence the wee squinty smile in the photo. He manages a diet of soft food without a problem.
He’s ok with dogs his size but not so much large breed dogs, he’s never been off lead but walks well on a lead when out and about. We don’t know his suitability around cats. He will not be suited to homes with children. His adopter will need to have a secure private garden for off lead play.
