Bert/Bertie is now reserved.
7 years of age, he is a Bichon Frise x West Highland Terrier. He arrived with us after his owner’s health declined, a friend had tried to take him in but he and their own dog didn’t get along so reluctantly Bert was brought to our kennels.
Bert is a terrier and loves the sound of his own voice, he barks when he’s happy, frustrated, alone… He’s friendly with people, although is not used to young children, and recently enjoyed a groom at the grooming salon. He can get along with other dogs but on his terms, he’s not met a cat but terriers will terrier!
Bertie is a fiesty wee thing and is not suited to lap dog life, having missed out on a lot due to his owners ill health he’d love to experience new adventures with owners who can show him some of the wonderful Scottish countryside.
