WOODY IS NOW RESERVED.
Woody is a 2yo Shih Tzu x Lhasa Apso who came to us from his family.
Woody is an anxious boy, as was his mother, and this has meant that life in a busy family home, on a busy street has all been too much for him. His family sought professional help and veterinary advice but the conclusion was that Woody may never fully enjoy life and for his welfare, he was reluctantly brought to us for rehoming.
Woody has coped very well with the transition to kennels and has proven to be friendly with all staff, he is a little stand offish with new people. He’s lived with children but finds them too much on a day to day.
Woody is anxious around other dogs but would sooner avoid conflict than rush into it, he finds it very stressful when the other dogs around him are jumping around and barking and so he’d prefer to be the only dog in his new home. Woody will chase cats and has never lived with one.
Woody loves to play with a ball and as his recall isn’t reliable, we would prefer Woody had his own private garden to enjoy play.
Woody has a luxating patella, which at this time is not severe enough to warrant surgery.
Woody’s family have asked that we do not rehome him in Perth as they couldn’t bear to bump into him.
