Zippy arrived as a stray, the vet estimates he’s around 8 months old, there was no microchip found.
Zippy was happily examined by the vet, microchipped and vaccinated. Zippy requires a Cryptorchid castration – cos his baws havnae dropped!
He’s a very sweet boy, quite anxious and doesn’t like being alone. He was distressed travelling in the van to the vet but it’s unknown if that’s a travelling fear or just being alone. He doesn’t seem to be fully house-trained but he’s stressed so this might be a bi-product of that.
He likes other dogs although is a bit jumpy so not suited to old arthritic dogs or those who really don’t like a splat on the head! Being a sighthound Zippy would likely chase cats and other small animals. As he was a stray we cannot rehome with children less than 12 years of age.
