Moss, 5yo Border Collie

Moss is a failed working dog who came to us from their owner, he prefers to chase sheep, rather than herd them! He’s been a kennel dog all of his life and he will lift his leg wherever he pleases and so will definitely need his own secure garden while he is taught to live indoors.

Moss arrived with Bett & Annie but he spends his time trying to mount them which they do not enjoy and so he is mostly exercised in the yard by himself. Moss loves cuddling all the staff and volunteers at the kennels, was happy to be examined by the vet. He will chase cats and other small furry creatures, has never been around small children or large groups of people.

Moss will need further lead, recall and house training from an experienced dog owner who will be prepared to take time introducing him to domestic life – he’s probably never seen a television!
