Isla & Ivan

Isla & Ivan were abandoned in a layby between Crieff & Aberfeldy, Ivan is a Cocker Spaniel who had no microchip, Isla’s microchip says she’s a Papillon (she is not) and also that she’s around 8 years of age but the microchip details are still being investigated. Given the horrific conditions these dogs were found in, no-one would be looking to claim them and if they tried, they wouldn’t get them back!

The dogs were so matted and covered in dried faecal matter that it was kindest to have them sedated at the vets and shaved. The pairing suggests they’ve probably been used for breeding Cockapoos and Isla certainly appears to have had a few litters.

Despite the cruelty shown to them, these two wee darlings have known affection, have clearly walked on a lead and are house-trained so there’s no excuses for the condition they were found in.

Isla is very barky towards other dogs but Ivan is too interested in humans to care. Ideally we would rehome them together but we may separate as long as they both go on the very same day so one is not left behind.

We do not know their suitability around cats or children.

The rehoming fee is £210.00 for all dogs. If you would like to register your interest in adopting a PADS dog, please complete an adoption application. Applications will close once we find a suitable applicant.
