Leo is now reserved, pending home check.
Leo was born in Greece and has been in kennels since he was quite young. He was rescued from Greece by a local couple who had a sudden illness in the family and couldn’t keep him.
Leo is a crossbreed but very likely a hound in origin given his body shape and traits.
LOVES people and other dogs, a little too much sometimes and personal space is just not a thing he has ever considered! Ben the GSD is his best friend and he spends as much time as possible booping Ben and jumping over him and just generally tiring the old boy out!
What kind of home do we need for Leo?
A secure garden really is a necessity, he is a hound, he hunts! He flushes birds, he’s a hunter! He must have his own safe space to goof around in, and goof around he will. He is not a dog suited to offlead exercise in a public space.
He’s had no experience with children and while he still requires more boundary training, a home with pre-teen kids will not be considered, he could be placed with teenagers but certainly not for the first time family dog.
He could live with another dog but not cats, rabbits, hens etc.
If you’re interested in learning more about him please contact us, you will be required to fill in an adoption application form before visiting the kennels.
Applications will close once we find a suitable applicant.
