Bobby, 11mo Crossbreed

Bobby will be 1 in June, he is meant to be a Springer Spaniel x Bulldog although he does look very like a miniature Dogue de Bordeaux in real life!

He’s come to us as he was too powerful for his owners, he pulls like a train when he’s excited but walks well once he’s on the move.

In typical bull breed fashion he’s full on and dives into every situation head first, he can be too overwhelming for other animals as he’s a bit in-your-face. His family said he will knock wee kids over like skittles!

Bobby loves affection and really enjoys swimming.

What kind of home do we need for Bobby?

Bobby should go to an experienced dog owner, someone who has trained a dog before. He’s a lovely boy but he’s got the crazy spaniel brain with the boisterous bully body and finds the world just SO EXCITING!!! He needs to be taught basic commands, lead manners and recall.

His owners asked if we can find him a home with his own garden as he loves to sunbathe so we would love to honour that wish for them and him.

Given his excitable nature and lack of spatial awareness he will not be rehomed to families with children under 12 or anyone who is unsteady on their feet.

If you’re interested in learning more about Bobby please contact us, you will be required to fill in an adoption application form before visiting the kennels.
