About Dexter
Dexter is a young, bouncy, nibbly Staffie type dog, he’s been rehomed and then returned after 3 months because he is very destructive any time he’s left alone. He’s friendly with dogs and people but has no manners – he will jump on anyone or thing and when he gets excited he nibbles. He’s missed out on some basic early training so needs a bit of help there, so someone with experience or with access to a dog trainer will be required to help this teenage boy blossom into a well mannered adult.
What kind of home does he need?
He has been kept in a crate and for the foreseeable will need to be when left alone as he is very destructive. He would prefer his humans to be around most of the day so perhaps someone who works from home or who can take the dog to work might suit him best.
Any garden will have to be secure, he has previous for taking himself off on adventures!
He may live with another dog but they will have to be prepared for 16kg of Staffie wrestling daily, he might just be too much for some dogs.
He’s been with kids for a couple of weeks but found them just too exciting and wanted to jump and nip them so while he’s going through this stage it would be irresponsible to rehome him with children.
