Milo came into us because of ill health in the home. He’s a reserved wee soul and doesn’t want affection from strangers.
He’s been rehomed and returned because he was protecting the woman in the home from her husband and bit her adult daughter when they were sitting side by side.
He’s good with other dogs, he doesn’t like cats and did live with children before he came to us.
What kind of home do we need for Milo?
An experienced dog owner with a secure garden in the first instance. He must not be babied and we would urge anyone interested in him to do some reading on guarding behaviour in dogs.
He’ll need regular grooming so someone experienced in grooming or with the funds to be able to take him to the groomers every couple of months, we are assured he is fine at the groomers.
Given that he has bitten we have to insist that he can’t go to a home with children less that 12 years of age – as a precaution.
If you’re interested in learning more about Milo please contact us, you will be required to fill in an adoption application form before visiting the kennels.
Applications will close once we find a suitable applicant.
