Buddy came to us due to a sudden change in work commitments.
He’s a very friendly guy, a bit too over enthusiastic but we are mindful that he’s still just a baby. He is meant to be house-trained but he has taken to dirty protests here in his kennel and rarely goes outside.
He will need a family willing to spend time working on his manners, mainly introductions and lead – he’s just a bit full on!
What kind of home do we need for Buddy?
Buddy really needs someone with experience of dog ownership, he’s got a few wee cheeky habits that will need addressing. He could live with another dog but they’d have to be pretty young and energetic to keep up with him and not mind being jumped on.
He’s been around kids but never had to live with them so we think 10 years old is probably the youngest he could live with – we would assess their suitability over a few visits.
We’ve been advised he doesn’t want to be friends with felines.
A garden is always advantageous for any dog, especially given that Buddy is not fully house-trained as yet and needs encouraged to toilet outside – but the main requirement is that his new owner(s) is fit and experienced with breeds such as this.
