Daphne, 2yo DoberDane

Daphne is now reserved.

Daphne is a Great Dane x Dobermann, she arrived with us due to her owners ill-health.

Daphne has spent the last few months at home only in the garden, she lived with another large dog and used to walk with a group of dogs but she’s not so sure about other dogs at the moment.

Daphne is very shy and it took us quite some time to win her trust, now we’ve got it we see a new dog and she loves to play bow at us so we’ll chase her around! She quite enjoys a tickle of the chest but can’t sit still long enough for a belly rub.

What kind of home do we need for Daphne?

Daphne is incredibly strong, so her new family will need to be strong too! Lead walking could do with work, she can walk nicely but will pull towards other dogs and livestock, recall is a work in progress.

Daphne should have a secure and private garden so she can get off lead exercise away from other dogs. Daphne has been around children, but given her size we would consider children 10+ only. Daphne has never met a cat.
