Rocky is now reserved
Rocky arrived with us after a sudden illness in the family.
His family advised he was good with other dogs but he’s not so friendly with other dogs here in the kennels, we have a number of dog-reactive dogs at this time. Rocky has lived with children. Cats and other small furry animals are a definite no-no!!
Rocky is house-trained, travels well but will definitely need further lead training and recall is non-existent.
Rocky is unsure of strangers, when brought in by the dog warden he was frightened of the male warden and he had to be muzzled to be examined by the vet.
What kind of home are we looking for Rocky?
An active home would be best, he needs to be busy and would crack up cooped up in the house all day. He is wary of new people and his new owner should be understanding of this and confident enough to tell approaching strangers to back off! Hopefully his confidence will blossom when he’s settled in a new place.
A typical terrier, things to chase are such a temptation! A secure garden is imperative so that he may have safe off lead exercise.
