Meg, 10yo Bearded Collie

Meg is now reserved

Meg was surrendered by her owner as she was being left far too long on her own.

Meg is a sweet girl who enjoys affection. She’s a bit overweight, so she’ll need to lose a few kilograms in order to minimise pressure on her ageing joints.

Meg had a tumour removed from her mouth last year, surgeons are happy that the cancer was removed but her new family will need to have her mouth checked annually by their vets to ensure nothing has returned.

Meg is ok with dogs (although doesn’t share toys or food), cats and children 8+.

What kind of home do we need for Meg?
Meg is looking for a retirement home. Someone who will take her for a wander around the block a couple of times a day and has a nice garden where she can sunbathe.

She’s been left for long periods and her old owner really doesn’t want her to be stuck alone for hours – and we think that’s only right for her.
