BOBBY IS NOW RESERVED
Bobby was handed into Crieff Vets as a stray, the details on his microchip were from the breeder. Bobby doesn’t appear to have been very well cared for and presented as much older than his microchip stated age. He was very dirty with skin complaints which we’ve now got under control. He has a limp on his back end but x-rays didn’t see any obvious injury. It doesn’t seem to cause him any major discomfort however we are giving him pain relief for now.
He is a busy boy and constantly on the move, he’s very insecure and really doesn’t like to be left alone in the yard, if we were to try and leave him and his pal in the yard he will cry and scratch at the door for us.
Bobby is ok with other dogs, he has a Lurcher pal here who is forever jumping on him and he takes it in his stride. Bobby loves people and enjoyed his day out to vet! Bobby had a mass removed from his stomach when he was castrated which our vets diagnosed as a fatty lump.
What kind of home are we looking for?
Spaniel experience would be wonderful of course, but crucially someone who can be with him most of the time as he really is very insecure. He could live with another dog and it would be advantageous was confident being left alone to reassure him.
We do not rehome dogs found as strays to families with children less than 12 years of age.
