Monty is now reserved.
Monty came to us from a family who were not able to meet his needs. He’s a very anxious dog and a busy house is not something he likes, or can cope with.
Monty has been living with a member of staff in recent months where he has learned how to walk on a lead, recall and how to just chill out. There have been many improvements to his confidence but he’s still got his icks!
~ Monty hates being groomed, handled without consent and travelling in the car.
~ Monty loves walking, playing ball, playing tug, playing with other dogs and water – to splash or swim!
What kind of home are we looking for?
Collie experience desirable, anxious dog experience essential. He needs a chilled out owner who doesn’t want to be touching him and in his face all the time. He doesn’t want to go to the pub or the cafe but he’ll walk and play all day long with his human.
As ever, a garden would be fab but a fit and healthy person with the want and means to get him out and about the countryside would be awesome.
