Rocky, 8yo Lurcher

About Rocky

Rocky was rehomed by us back in 2018 and very sadly his owner has had to return him.

He’s been living with a female dog and likes other dogs but he is very OTT when introducing himself. He loves new people and children but again, is a bit over-the-top when he first meets folk. He will jump up and try to stick his tongue in your mouth – which is understandably not for everyone!

He’s house-trained and likes the car, he’s never been allowed off lead in public and is used to a long lead. He walks well on a short lead.

What kind of home are we looking for?
Sighthound experience would be great. As with all Lurcher types we would exercise caution around small dogs, cats and other small pets. Lurchers cannot be off lead in public places given that they can be a danger to small animals so a garden would be nice for off lead zoomies or someone with the means to take him to a secure field for off lead fun on occasion.
