Bruce, 1yo Sprollie

RESERVED

Bruce came in from his family – they felt that he wasn’t happy in the home and had started to guard his bed and possessions, with young children in the house they felt he needed to find a new home. The family did consult their vet for a health check prior to relinquishment.

Since arriving with us, we’ve seen a little lip curl when in his bed but he’s happy to be petted, always happy to see everyone, shares toys and returns to his kennel so the bed thing we’ll continue to work with while he’s with us. He really enjoys his toys, particularly a ball.

We were advised he likes other dogs but he’s been a bit unsure here, so we’ll continue to assess his suitability with other dogs while he’s with us.

What kind of home are we looking for?

Bruce’s family think he’ll be much happier in an adult only home, someone with a bit of time to spend with him and help him with training, both lead and recall training require further work.

Bruce is house-trained but does cry when left, the family recommend use of the radio to keep him company.
