About Bear
Bear has arrived here through no fault of his own, having been returned to the breeder, rehomed and very badly let down in the second home. The breeder has tried to make it work but Bear is just hellbent on chasing their cats and it’s just not feasible to carry on.
Bear was one in April, his mother is a Lab and Dad is a Lurcher – a happy accident in the park!
Bear is a lovely big lump, happy to be examined by the vet, friendly to staff and visitors and ok with other dogs his size, his breeder has written a lovely note which can be shared with potential adopters along with puppy photos – so cute! And the profile picture is kindly from his breeder, taken just before he came into us.
What kind of home are we looking for?
An experienced dog owner would be ideal, someone who has lead trained their own dog. Bear is very strong and his lead walking needs a lot of work. He’s not used to being left alone so someone who is around most of the day to keep him company would be lovely.
Kids from the age of 10 would be fine, so long as they are confident with and respectful of dogs.
