- Elsa has now found a home
Elsa came from her owner due to change in circumstances. Elsa had been living in kennels for a long and her coat was matted on arrival, she was shaved and spayed to minimise stress and so her haircut was not done by a professional groomer – no offence intended to the veterinary nurses who did the best they could while she was sedated 🙂
Elsa arrived with another female dog but after regular scuffles we’ve made the decision to separate them for rehoming, both girls are much happier on their own. Elsa loves attention and she’s eager to please, although can be a bit standoffish with new men.
Elsa hasn’t had a lot of basic training so will need a bit of further training with lead work and recall.
Elsa is a bit unpredictable around other dogs. She has never met a cat or a young child.
What kind of home are we looking for?
An experienced dog owner would be advantageous, someone who can continue her training. Elsa could live with older children but might finder younger ones frightening.
Given Elsa’s reluctance to share, an only dog household would be our preference. As ever, a private and dog secure garden to call her own would be wonderful.
