Haig, 8yo Shar Pei x Staffie

Haig sadly found himself back with us having been rehomed in 2020, Haig is a lovely boy and really hasn’t had the best luck in his life. He was brought here having been passed around most of the north of Scotland and when he was brought here, he’d been bought on Gumtree just 3 weeks before!  Haig had severe separation anxiety, ulcers of the eyes and constant upset tummies. After many veterinary appointments, surgeries on his eyes and dietary management he was, we believed, steady enough to go onto be fostered. His fosterer then fell in love and he was adopted in the summer of 2021.

Haig was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder which is carefully managed with diet and medication which we’d be happy to discuss with any potential adopters.

Haig loves a walk and walks well on lead, he’s not keen on other dogs but is not a fighter. He will absolutely chase a cat! He isn’t used to children but is by no means a danger to them.
