Levi came to us when her owner was admitted to hospital, sadly, the lady is not fit to return home and so Levi needs to find a new home. Despite the masculine name Levi is in fact a very sassy little female. Levi has what us Chihuahua lovers might call “character” but what others may call “a bad attitude” and she needs careful handling!
Levi arrived with us with overgrown nails and a flea infestation so had some nursing required before we could advertise her for rehoming. She’s currently having steroids to calm down the inflammation caused by the fleas. Levi needed to be muzzled to have her veterinary assessment, vaccinations and nails clipped. Levi had a slight wobble in her back legs when she first arrived, the vet thinks it could be neurological but it has improved as her health has.
Levi will guard her food and has made contact with us for trying to get between her and her food bowl so will need a confident owner that she can’t bully! She can be bathed and brushed and picked up but doesn’t like to be grabbed or restrained.
Levi loves a cuddle and wants up on your knee all the time, when staff dogs aren’t here she’ll stay in the office with us all day which she adores. Levi does not like other dogs and will bark at them to keep them away.
