Harris was rehomed by us but sadly returned, unfortunately while out walking he was spooked by a runner running towards him and he bit them. His adopter was obviously very shaken and felt they couldn’t keep him.
Harris has shown no signs of aggression towards any visitors or staff member, vet or dog walker, nor did he in the adopters home with friends and family, it seems it was just a unfortunate incident but nevertheless we have to disclose this to potential families.
Harris has separation anxiety and has medication to keep him calmer in kennels, interestingly at home he was happy to sleep downstairs in the home so there is hope this can be overcome. Harris has lived with 10 other dogs but will not be suited to houses with cats or other small animals – furry or feather! He has been around children of school age.
Harris can never be off lead in a public place, he has incredible prey drive. Harris is not for the first time dog owner.
GWP Rescue are currently supporting us trying to find a breed experienced home for Harris.
