Beau came to us from a family friend after his owner went to jail. Beau has lived in a rural location and seems to have spent much of his time in a kennel.
Beau has come from a working line of Border Collie’s and as not had any of his instincts honed and therefore he is a car chaser (and train chaser) and therefore will not be suited to living on or near a busy road at this time in his life, we will be working on this dangerous habit while he is with us. Beau will need a secure garden without views of any roads or pavements.
Beau may be able to live with another dog with a couple of introductions, and children 8+. We are told he is cat safe but we cannot confirm this as we do not have the facility to test him.
We are hoping to find an adopter who has knowledge of managing dogs who car chase and who can provide him with a low stimulus and safe environment.
