Rosie, 2yo Border Collie

Rosie is now reserved

Rosie is a failed sheepdog, she’d much rather play with a tennis ball!

She’s spent the first part of her life in a kennel and is improving gradually with keeping her kennel tidy but will likely need a bit of guidance when it comes to living in a house.

She’s not done a lot of lead walking and so we’ll continue to do this with her while she’s here.

She’s frightened of men and will run and hide, however she was recently examined by a male vet and did very well. She’s never been around cats or children.

What kind of home do we want for Rosie?

A woman or a dedicated, kind and gentle man who will spend time visiting her here to gain her trust.

Rosie will need a secure private garden, somewhere she can access directly from the house. Firstly, for house training but also, so that if the family have visitors she can take herself off until she’s feeling brave enough to join in.

If you’re interested in learning more about Rosie please contact us by email, you will be required to fill in an adoption application form before visiting the kennels. Applications will close once we find a suitable applicant.

If you would like to register your interest in adopting a PADS dog please complete an adoption application. You can complete online here or download, complete and return the adoption application form by email or post to:
