Kovo is now reserved
Kovo has been with us for a couple of months after his owner was hospitalised, sadly his owner’s no longer able to care for him.
He’s 40kg and forgets sometimes, he loves to jump up to greet people which can be a bit alarming for those not used to that! He’s very strong but walks very well on a head collar. Recall is fine free of distractions but will need work.
He’s ok with most other dogs, although vocal in that typical GSD way! He’s not good with cats and hasn’t been around children at all.
He’s desperate to jump in the car or van but family say he’s not that much fun to travel with as he gets far too excited!
What kind of home do we need for Kovo?
Any adopter should have experienced with GSD’s or other similar large breed dogs – German Shepherds are not for the first time dog owner. Kids should be 12+
Kovo would love his own garden, he loves to lay about in the sun and playing ball is always good too! He’s had someone home with him so wouldn’t like to be left every day, however can be left happily for a few hours on occasion.
