What we know about Misty.
Misty is here due to her owners ill-health, no fault of her own. She was brought to the UK from Romania in August 2019. She’s still a little bit shy of new people & places, as many of these dogs are but once she’s given time to settle she’s very sweet.
She is house-trained and not destructive and can confidently be left home alone for a couple of hours. Misty has a sensitive stomach but as long as she’s fed her usual quality dog food it’s easily managed.
She lived with another dog and would enjoy play with them, she’s frightened of new dogs, particularly those who are all up in her face. She’s not sure about toys having not been introduced to them as a pup and so will chew fabric ones if left with them.
She has a high prey drive and will chase anything that moves!
What kind of home do we need for Misty?
Misty MUST have her own garden and it must be well secured with a 6ft fence please, she’s got a high prey drive and we are assured she will find a way out if there is one!
She’s ok with children but would struggle in a house where kids friends were in and out all the time, every new person is a worry for her! She’s not for the family that want to take their dog everywhere with them, she’s just a little bit nervous for that kind of lifestyle.
