Timmy, young Lurcher

Reserved

Timmy was abandoned at the roadside so we don’t have any information about him.

He’s very sweet, likes a cuddle, loves food more!

He’s been out on the lead, which seemed to be a novelty to him but he walks beautifully. Not bothered by traffic, pedestrians or sheep he encountered.

We would suspect that he’s not lived in a house and although he toilets in his kennel he doesn’t splash it about all over the place so one would hope house-training would come quickly.

What kind of home are we looking for?
Sighthound experience would be great of course but if potential adopters could at least take the time to do some reading on the breed we’d be grateful. Lurchers cannot be off lead in public places given that they can be a danger to small animals so a garden would be nice for off lead zoomies or someone with the means to take him to a secure field for off lead fun on occasion.

We do not rehome dogs found as strays to families with children less than 12 years of age.
