Rocky is now reserved.
Rocky is a 2yo Spaniel x Jack Russell. He’s been surrendered as the family felt he wasn’t getting enough time spent with him and they wanted him to have a better life.
He’s very shy of new people and it took us a couple of days to get him out of the kennel but now he’s happy to meet us. We’ve still to have a trip to the vet to see how he copes with that as new people are a bit of an ick for him and his veterinary history testifies to that!
Rocky enjoys the company of other dogs and plays beautifully with a very shy Lurcher bitch we’re working with at the moment.
What kind of home are we looking for?
Rocky is an active dog so someone fit and able to get him out and about. Someone sensible who isn’t going to take Rocky everywhere they go (pubs, cafes) – at least initially, he just wants peace to suss out things for himself. He has lived with kids but wasn’t keen on the baby in the home, older kids would be ok but probably not if the child is a social butterfly who has other children round for playdates every other day.
