ABOUT SOPHIA
Sophia is an ex-show Standard Poodle, her owner died and she was rehomed but it hasn’t worked out. Being an ex-show dog Sophia has been kenneled most of her life and was not used to living in a house.
Sophia is an opportunist and will steal human food, she has eaten bolognese from the pot on the stove and chocolate in the past. She’s used to other dogs and has met children in her past home but has not had exposure to cats. Sophia has never been walked, she has been in plenty show rings and so can walk on a lead beautifully. Sophia is very sweet and gentle, happy to be handled and is likes to meet new people.
What kind of home are we looking for?
Given Sophia has never been off lead in public spaces, she must have her own garden for off lead exercise, or someone with the means to give her secure off lead exercise regularly. She will need regular grooming so adopters should be in a financial position to afford regular grooming – please speak to your local groomer for rates before applying.
To meet Sophia you must submit an application form, we may then invite you for a meeting by appointment.
