Mabel was found dumped at the roadside, a chip check uncovered she’d been rehomed years ago.
Mabel has had a bit of a rubbish time having been used for breeding all while her own health was declining. She’s been with us for a number of weeks while we’ve got her weight up a bit and her skin and ears more stable. She will need a specialised diet and we suspect she has allergic skin disease too – although her skin is improving all the time so is a wait-and-see at the moment.
She’s friendly with other dogs of her size and loves people, happy to be bathed and examined by the vets. She’s clean in her kennel and enjoys a walk.
As she was a stray, our policy is that all children in the home must be 12 years of age or older.
