Patches came to us from her family, she has not been well socialised with new dog but mixed well with family dogs but is very friendly towards all people.
Patches arrived with a mammary tumour which has been removed and tested; this carcinoma was stage 2 but was removed fully. The recurrence rate for this type of tumour is low in the first year but 25% chance of recurrence in year 2, we have since spayed her to minimise the likelihood of recurrence but any adopter should be aware that this is a probability.
Patches pulls a little on lead and can be excitable around large sized traffic, recall is not tested.
Patches may be able to live with another dog with a couple of introductions, and children 8+, but will chase cats and other small furry creatures.
