What we know about Cassius…
Cassius arrived from his owner, they cited a new home and working hours as a reason for his relinquishment.
He’s a very friendly boy with adults, no real manners and will jump up, he would knock those less steady on their feet over. He’s not been around children. He loves to play! Pounces on toys and loves tugging on a rope.
His owners advised us that he is not great around other dogs. We’ve introduced him to a couple of the female dogs we have and he’s keen to play but does land on them – which they don’t like! Again, manners need a bit of work in this department.
He has got the itchy skin we see often from bullbreeds, it’s managed but will need managing for life.
What kind of home are we looking for?
Knowledge of Bull breeds is important. Cassius will barge into any new situation head first – and it’s a big hard head – so knowledge and ability to manage is important.
Of course his own garden would be lovely but someone with the means to give him regular off lead exercise would be great for him, with his reactivity a town park isn’t ideal.
